Questions We Get a Lot
A traditional sauna heats the air around you — often using an electric heater and sauna rocks — to create a high-temperature, low-to-moderate humidity environment. An infrared sauna uses radiant heat panels to warm your body more directly at lower ambient temperatures. Both offer a deeply relaxing heat experience; the right choice often comes down to personal preference, available space, and how your body responds to each style of heat.
Outdoor barrel saunas are designed for customer assembly and typically arrive with the components, hardware, and instructions needed for you to set them up yourself. The process does require some time and basic tools, so reviewing the assembly documentation before your order arrives is a good idea. If you have any questions about what a specific model includes, feel free to reach out to our team before purchasing.
Space requirements vary depending on the model you choose — a 2-person barrel sauna has a much smaller footprint than a 4-6 person cube sauna with a front porch. As a general guideline, plan for the sauna's stated dimensions plus a comfortable clearance on all sides for ventilation, door swing, and safe access. Reviewing the product specifications carefully before purchase will help you confirm the right fit for your yard or deck.

About Our Traditional Saunas
Traditional saunas have been a cornerstone of intentional rest and recovery rituals across cultures for centuries, and today's home sauna options make that experience more accessible than ever. Designed to generate deep, enveloping heat through electric heaters and natural sauna rocks, these structures create an environment where you can slow down, perspire, and reset on your own schedule. They are well-suited for homeowners who want a dedicated wellness space — whether that means a compact indoor cabin for two or a larger outdoor structure that accommodates the whole family. When choosing a traditional sauna, the most important factors to consider are capacity, placement (indoor versus outdoor), available power supply, build materials, and the features that matter most to your routine — such as steam capability, lighting, or smart controls. Cedar is a popular choice for its natural durability, resistance to moisture, and the warm, grounding atmosphere it creates inside the cabin. A thoughtfully chosen sauna can become one of the most consistently used and genuinely valued additions to a home wellness routine.
